I play chess

I am a keen club player with a grading of 1589, well down from my peak of about 1950 as a young man.

I am a member of Edinburgh Civil Service Chess Club. We compete in the Edinburgh Chess League, which is part of Chess Edinburgh.

In the past I have done a lot of junior chess organizing and coaching, both at the Edinburgh level and at the Scotland level.
